This blanket combines two of the probably most loved stitches: garter stitch and granny stitch! It was so much fun to make, that I decided to publish this pattern ASAP!
Combining knitting and crochet techniques is a lot of fun and I am often astounded, how well both crafts can work together. The middle is worked in garter stitch (square or rectangle). Then, crochet takes over and granny stitch is worked around the middle. And you can continue until you run out of yarn! Instructions for a scalloped border are included. I choose some chunky yarn for my sample, but you can use any yarn you like.
I hope you like this combination pattern, because there will be more (shawls, hats…)!
