Freebie Release — Jeromette

A new Freebie is available — Jeromette! This shawl plays with texture and color — there is double moss stitch, ribbing, seed stitch and an I-Cord Edging!

Jeromette is a triangle without its tip and can be wrapped around the neck easily.

There are lots of possibilities to turn Jeromette into your own unique shawl — use any number of colors, make it bigger or smaller, use any yarn weight!

I love texture like ribbing or seed stitch. It’s ammazing what you can do with only knits and purls! Lace looks dainty and airy but it isn’t the right thing for a warm cozy shawl. I wanted this Freebie to be an interesting knit, have lots of texture and lots of possibilities for adjustments. Jeromette ticks all these boxes and the first one was so much fun to knit that I bought some Aran weight yarn and made another one for winter.
