Pattern Release — Confetto

Confetto is a sweet and easy lace triangle shawl, perfect for one skein of fingering weight yarn!

First, stockinette stitch frames a small lace pattern in the middle. Then, the lace panel tuns into lace diamonds that change into an eyelet pattern. A few rows of garter stitch and more eyelets are worked as edging.

A triangle shawl is probably THE classic shawl shape. Confetto is all about lace patterns that change into other lace patterns. And the rate of increases changes, too! That way, you get a triangle shawl that is a little shallower and easier to wear.

Confetto would look great in speckled yarn or in a gradient, too. One skein of fingering weight yarn is enough to knit this shawl, the Third Lace Section can be repeated more often for a longer shawl.
